Cheer Fundamentals

Our Cheer Fundamentals program introduces athletes to the exciting world of all-star cheerleading in a fun, supportive environment. With classes for athletes ages 5–6 and 7 and up, this program is designed to help athletes build confidence while learning the essential skills needed to succeed in cheer.

Athletes will be introduced to the core elements of cheerleading, including motions, jumps, stunts, tumbling, eight-count timing, and performance technique. Through age-appropriate instruction, safe progressions, and an emphasis on proper technique, athletes develop a strong foundation while having fun and building confidence along the way.

Cheer Fundamentals is a great option for athletes who are interested in exploring all-star cheer without the commitment of a competitive team, as well as current cheerleaders looking to strengthen their fundamentals or maintain their skills during the off-season. For many younger athletes, our 5–6-year-old Cheer Fundamentals class serves as the perfect introduction to both cheerleading and tumbling before becoming eligible for our Tumble for Cheer classes at age 7.
