BCE Prep

BCE Prep is Buckeye Cheer Elite's introductory all-star cheerleading program, designed for athletes who are ready to experience the excitement of competitive cheerleading in a supportive, team-focused environment. With a shorter season, limited travel schedule, and lower overall cost than our Elite program, BCE Prep is the perfect first step into the world of all-star cheer.

Running from September through April, the Prep season features primarily local competitions, allowing athletes to experience the excitement of performing, competing, and being part of a team while maintaining a manageable schedule for families. Throughout the season, athletes develop strong fundamentals in tumbling, jumps, stunting, motions, performance, and teamwork while building confidence, friendships, and a love for the sport.

BCE Prep is an excellent fit for athletes who are new to all-star cheer, younger athletes beginning their competitive journey, or families looking for an introduction to competitive cheerleading before transitioning into our Elite program. Many Prep athletes continue their cheer journey by advancing to our Elite teams as they develop new skills and gain confidence.

Ready to join BCE Prep?

BCE Prep team placements are determined through our Placement Clinics rather than a traditional one-day tryout. This process allows our coaching staff to get to know each athlete over multiple clinics and place them on the team where they'll have the greatest opportunity for success. If you're interested in joining BCE Prep for the upcoming season, create or log into your Jackrabbit account and navigate to the Activities tab to register for an upcoming Placement Clinic.
